We would suggest the mesh cover to allow for airflow, the heavy duty mesh can also be used with this product.

Can I use both sides?

Yes the pad is reversible so both sides can be used, this helps reduce washing!

The luxury pads are made with high quality upholstery fabrics which wash well and come up like new, the fabrics are also softer and more comforting for your pet.
