The Original HiK9 Ltd – Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions conducted via The Original HiK9 website at www.hik9.com.
Please read them carefully before placing your order and print a copy for future reference.

In these Terms and Conditions:

  • “You”, “your” and “yours” refer to the customer placing an order.

  • “We”, “us”, and “our” refer to The Original HiK9 Ltd.


1. Notification of Changes

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time without prior notice.
Any changes will apply to future orders placed after the updated Terms are published on our website.


2. Brexit & International Orders

If you live in the EU or Ireland and order from a UK retailer, your order may be subject to local tax and duty fees.
We charge your local tax rate on your order upfront. If a courier later contacts you for further payment, please pay it and contact us if you have been charged tax twice — we will refund any tax you’ve paid directly to us.

When customs duties or taxes are due, you (as the recipient) are responsible for paying them unless already paid to us.
These charges differ by country, so please check with your local customs office before ordering.

By law, all items must be declared at their full price. We cannot reduce customs values to lower import fees.

If you refuse a delivery, you will still be responsible for any customs fees, return costs, and handling charges.
In these cases, refunds will be issued minus a £45 return fee.
If a parcel is refused, we cannot accept liability for any loss or damage during its return transit.


3. Placing an Order

To place an order, follow the checkout process on our website. It is your responsibility to ensure all details are complete and accurate before confirming your order.

Each order is an offer to purchase goods subject to these Terms and Conditions.
We will confirm acceptance of your order via email.
We reserve the right to decline any order.

Once an order has been placed, we are unable to cancel or amend it, as it is immediately sent to our warehouse for processing.


4. Pre-Order Items

If your order includes a pre-order item, the entire order will be shipped together once the pre-order item becomes available.
If you wish to receive in-stock items sooner, please contact us at info@hik9.com.
Additional postage charges will apply for split shipments.


5. Delivery

We aim to deliver goods within 5 days of dispatch.
If delivery is likely to be delayed, we will notify you by email and offer the option to cancel your order.

If you refuse delivery, you will be charged a £10 return postage fee.
We cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to your order during its return transit.

Risk of loss or damage passes to you once the goods are delivered to your specified address.


6. Shipping & Postage

Delivery costs are calculated based on the total weight of your order.
You will only pay one delivery charge for combined items.

Delivery rates apply to mainland UK only. Certain postcodes (including some Scottish Highlands and Islands) may incur additional fees.
For deliveries outside the UK or uncertain areas, please contact us for a quote before ordering.

If you prefer to arrange your own courier, we can accommodate this for a small packaging fee.
Please provide full collection details in advance.

If your order has not arrived within the stated time, please email info@hik9.com with your name and order number.

Delivery times are estimates only. Occasionally delays occur due to courier or customs issues beyond our control, and we cannot be held responsible for associated costs or losses.

If you request delivery without a signature, you accept full responsibility for any loss or theft once delivered.
Please report any discrepancies within 48 hours of receipt.


7. Postage & Packing Charges

Unless otherwise stated, postage and packing are charged in addition to product prices.
Rates depend on the delivery address, weight, and chosen shipping method.

8. Payment

Full payment is required at checkout before dispatch.
We accept credit and debit cards, PayPal, and Clearpay.
All prices are shown in GBP (£).


9. Sale Price Adjustment Policy

We offer a Sale Price Adjustment on items purchased up to 2 days before a sale starts.
The exact style and size must still be available when your request is made, and your order must not have been dispatched.

Approved adjustments will be issued as a store credit voucher, valid for 12 months across all HiK9 products.

Please note only one discount code can be used at a time on our website, this includes any automatic discounts that do not require a code.


10. Clearpay Information

Clearpay is available to UK residents aged 18 or over.
Clearpay performs credit checks to determine eligibility and spending limits.

11. Availability & Product Specification

All items are subject to availability.
If a product is unavailable, we will contact you as soon as possible and may offer a substitute of equal quality and price.
If unsuitable, you may return substitute goods for a full refund.

Product specifications and designs may occasionally change.
If a change occurs, we will provide a substitute of the same or higher quality at no extra cost.
You may return it for a full refund if you prefer.

Please note: all colours, sizes, and measurements shown are approximate.


12. Pricing & Discount Codes

We make every effort to ensure all prices are accurate.
If a pricing error occurs, we will contact you to reconfirm or cancel your order before processing payment.

Only one discount code may be used per order.
Discounts must be applied at checkout — they cannot be added retrospectively.


13. Refund & Returns Policy

You have 28 days from delivery to return goods for a refund, in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

To initiate a return, please email info@hik9.com within 28 days of receiving your order.
You are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

Returned goods must be unused, in their original packaging, and in saleable condition.
We reserve the right to deduct up to 10% restocking fee if items are returned damaged or incomplete.

Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 30 days of receipt.


14. Faulty or Damaged Items

If your goods arrive faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
We will arrange a replacement or refund at our discretion.

This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.


15. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions form the entire agreement between you and The Original HiK9 Ltd for purchases made on this website.
By placing an order, you confirm your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Any amendments to these Terms will only be valid if made in writing and published on this website by The Original HiK9 Ltd.
The version in force at the time of your order will apply to that purchase.


16. Privacy & Data Protection

We value your privacy and comply with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
We collect only the information necessary to process and deliver your order — including your name, billing and shipping address, email, and phone number.

We never share your details with third parties except as required to complete your order (for example, with couriers or payment providers).
